In its current form (opens in a new window) it describes a way of being that is receptive, intuitive, and unhurried, contrasted with a way of being that answers email at 11pm. Few people would argue with the goal. The product line is where the phrase starts doing work.

There are courses for awakening it (opens in a new window), and there are coaches who explain (opens in a new window) that a woman in her divine feminine does not pursue or pay. There are coaches down the hall (opens in a new window), on the men’s side of the building, explaining that a man in his divine masculine leads and the woman follows. The two curricula fit together like a matched pair of invoices. One party pays to learn to wait, and the other pays for everything the waiting is for.

The effect on an actual first date is that the arrangement arrives already sanctified. Who pays is ordinarily a thing 2 adults can discuss. Once it is described as energy it becomes a matter of nature, and a person who raises it is out of alignment.
